A Slightly Longer Version
Hi, my name is Dean, and I’m from the UK - a Londoner by birth who nowadays calls Yorkshire home. Currently working as a senior security engineer for an MSSP, I’ve been in the Information Technology industry for five years.
My primary motivation for creating this blog was to document my studies towards the Check Point CCSA certification (as well as the future pursuit of other certifications), and for it to serve as a general knowledge base for technologies I’m exposed to at work - along with other topics/areas of interest. However, I also hope that in doing so, I can contribute at least some amount of useful information for anybody else who is looking to further their own professional development.
Outside of work I can be found driving around and exploring somewhere new, practising my photography, and volunteering as a community first responder for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
